Being a part of the National Public Radio network, they support and share stories from their national syndicate such as This American life, The Weekend Edition, and more.

Shaping the Future of Public Radio
KUOW reached out to us with the goal of providing updated marketing materials for their estate planning department. KUOW, and many other non-profit organizations rely on gifts through wills or living trusts in order to maintain income and support standard business needs. Their goal was to increase awareness of their program via a print campaign that would educate and encourage long time listeners to support public radio for generations to come.

This program began with a targeted brochure, mailed to KUOW’s targeted list of older listeners and long-time supporters. Highlighting only key information and call to actions, the design allowed recipients to mail-back a perforated portion of the brochure to receive more information.
The follow-up piece, along with targeted email messaging, was a larger booklet that broke the process (and the impact their contribution would have) in greater detail. From providing insight into how their gift would be used in providing independent journalism for future generations, to giving them a list of highly rated estate planning lawyers in their area, this piece is what empowered their listeners to make an informed and confident decision.






After our success with their estate planning team, we began helping their team design and update their ongoing quarterly newsletter sent to over 20,000 subscribers. KUOW continues to be a leader in their space, and inform the public with honest, independent journalism.
